Rumblestrut Studios began as a freelance web design project on May 9, 2004 by Eric J. Gruber.
His lifelong friend, Dusty Deringer, decided to take a stab at a seat in the Kansas State Senate, and asked Gruber to create a web site for his political ambitions.
The deal was done and the two got to work. Deringer was complimented on his great-looking and informative web site. And used the power of the Internet to create an all-out assult on his opponent.
He lost miserably.
Despite losing the election, he inadvertently kickstarted a Kansas business.
Gruber is a 1999 graduate of Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, Mo. He used a good portion of his mass communications degree as a reporter, page designer, photographer and page editor for newspapers such as The Jopin Globe, The Eudora News, The De Soto Explorer and The Ottawa Herald, until finding his true calling and settling on digital ink instead.
Married to his beautiful wife, Amy, Gruber has a daughter, Ember, whom he's raising to grow up to love Apple computers, web standards, great music and a dry sense of humor.
